My go-to oats breakfast.
Blueberry & Chia Seed Overnight Oats.
This must be the easiest oats breakfast that tastes great and literally takes 5 minutes to prepare.
It’s best prepared the evening before so that it can develop it’s full flavour and soften through the night.
½ Cup Rolled Oats
2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
½ Cup Blueberries
¾ Cup Almond Milk
1 Teaspoon Raw Honey
Mix everything together and place in a glass jar. Keep in the fridge overnight and enjoy in the morning.

You could add any type of berries, even a mix of berries. Blueberries are just my favorite. Sometimes I add a spoon of peanut butter or a sprinkle of cinnamon. I also love adding coconut shavings. Why Chia seeds?
Chia seeds are among the healthiest foods in the world. These little seeds pack a punch when it comes to nutrition.
- It adds fibre, protein and omega 3 fatty acids.
- It’s high in anti-oxidants.
- Count in some calcium, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus.
- Don’t forget the vitamins…. A, C & E.
- Chia seeds also add to the texture.
It’s fair to say that for me, this recipe is quite possibly the best thing to happen to breakfast.
